Board Adhesive Failure Problem Cause and solutions
The quality of adhesive is poor. We can improve the quality of adhesive.
The amount of adhesive attached is small. We can adjust the clearance between the gluing rollers and increase the amount of adhesive attached.
The viscosity of adhesive is low. We can properly increase the viscosity of adhesive.
The temperature of the surface of the corrugating roll is uneven or not enough. In this case, the glue is not easily solidified and keeps sticky. So its adhesion is not enough. Then, we should check whether the condensate drain and gas supply pressure meet the requirement.
The temperature of the hot plate of the double facer is not enough, which will also lead to the insufficient temperature for gelatinization. Then, we should check whether there is any fault in the double facer and gas supply part of the hot plate, and see whether the trap can timely drain.
6.The water content of the base paper is high, which will result in adhesive failure. The high water content of the base paper can reduce the solidity content of the glue in disguise, for the water needs to absorb temperature. Meanwhile, it also reduces the temperature at the time of gelatinization. Then, we should increase the pre-heating area or replace the paper.
7.The operating rate is too fast, the heat can not be timely transferred to the paper sheet, and the water can not be fully evaporated. Then, we can properly reduce the operating rate.
9.The slitting circular knife of the slitting machine is not properly adjusted, for the board is not well adhered with too much water in this part. In this case, the slitting knife will have an engaging force to pull the paper so that the edge can de-bond. Therefore, it can be solved by adjusting the engaging clearance of the slitting circular knife.
