The right choice and the right use are to increase production ,quality and extend the lifetime .Here we introduce the guidance for maintenance for the felt .
ONE: It is very important for the installation of high-pressure shower and vacuum box to restore felt condition when felt operation before forming section in the production process . See the drawing as below
Installation of high -pressure shower with oscillator system ,position on back side of the felt ,water should emerge on the felt surface .
Installation of high -pressure shower with oscillator system on felt surface with nozale position 15° against flet ,the purpose is to lift up dirt .
Lower-pressure shower is to soak and cover up the felt surface ,the purpose is to smooth and improve vacuum box .
Vacuum /suction box is very important to clean and absorb water and dirt .Under all circumstance ,in one production line ,felt rotation and installation of shower cleaner and vacuum /suction box to compulsory for restore the condition .
During installation of new felt ,to prevent dirt and oil from sticking to the felt .it is advisable to wet the entire felt with clean water before operation .This is very helpful to even our felt moisture during operation .
Aviod operating felt in dry condition to prevent the damage .
TWO: Important thing must be considered for preventing the damage and broken felt
1.Bad condition of the vacuum foil surface can affect the felt damage:
a . Bad quality of the vacuum foil material ( particularly do not use iron vacuum foil ）or long time using of the vacuum foil can change the shape of the vacuum foil become “U” .It can affect the felt around the vacuum box become concave , increase the friction / abrasion and also make the felt broken .
b.The new vacuum foil surface which is not smooth and sharp can make hair sehdding and damage .
c.The range between one vacuum foil to another usually around 2 cm , too wide or too narrow can aversely affect to the felt performance.
2.If the vacuum suction box is too long or the suction power is too hifh then it must add roll at each vacuum /suction box for reducing the felt friction /abrasion .
3.The hitting roll of the felt must be in good condition ,Its application cannot be too hard
4.During the operation ,the production csnnot be stop ,must run continuously .If the machine stop more than 2hours ,the felt have to be cleaned by using Acid cleaning solution for preventing the felt to be hardened & dagame .
5.If the stock /furnish more than PH12 ,it would decrease the felt performace .
6.If the slurry cement fall off on the forming roll ,it can damage the felt .
